Many patients will have the opportunity to meet and get to know our nurse practitioners as important components of our medical team. These registered nurses have received special clinical training and credentialing in women’s health. They provide patients with wellness care and perform annual examinations such as pap smears and breast exams. In addition, they can diagnose and treat uncomplicated gynecologic problems.
Our nurse practitioners work closely with your physician and other medical staff members to provide the best health care program to meet your individual needs. After each visit with the nurse practitioner, your physician will review your chart in order to keep current with your progress.
